微软WindowsMobileDeviceCenter6.1发布

    北京时间2007年06月13日，来自美国的“微软”公司正式对外发布了他们最新版本的电脑端移动设备管理工具——Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1。当用户配合此软件使用一台采用了Windows Mobile 6操作系统的智能移动产品时，可以实现以下新增功能：

  1、自动启动IRM（Information Rights Management）信息版权管理功能，以正确地设置存储于移动终端当中的电子文档，在打开之后依旧受到保护；
  2、增加了同步HTML格式的电子邮件的功能；
  3、当前正在连接的移动设备将会被自动授予一个证书；
  4、当一台移动设备被多次连接到同一台电脑上时，已经无需反复输入PIN码；
  5、自动注册已经连接的移动设备，并且将可用的信息反馈到产品上；
  6、当移动设备与电脑相连时，产品依旧可以使用“可移动磁盘”的功能；
  7、无论是触摸屏还是非触摸屏的移动设备，都可以在数据同步的过程当中自动转换文件。

    用户可以通过安装有Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1应用程序的电脑来管理采用了Windows Mobile 2003、Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition、Windows Mobile 5.0、Windows Mobile 5.0 with Messaging and Security Feature Pack、Windows Mobile 6、Windows Embedded CE 6.0及更高版本操作系统的智能设备。

    不过值得注意的是，目前的Windows Mobile Device Center还只能安装于各个版本的Windows vista操作系统当中（包括各种语言环境的32位或64位的Ultimate、Enterprise、Business、Home Premium、Home Basic、Server "Longhorn"），而像那些依旧还在使用Windows 2003、Windows XP、Windows ME、Windows2000和Windows 98等操作系统的朋友们来说，是必须通过ActiveSync来进行各种操作的。
